Boots on the Ground

HUMAN CREATOR: Dissentric appears to have gone to great lengths to prove that it is real. It has even produced a music video for its song “Boots on the Ground.” The band members don’t look like they are synching with the song lol.

After listening to the video, the song lyrics give a good message I think. It’s about a gritty social critique of the escalating cycle of civil disorder and the “catch-22” of authority. It explores the tension between the legal reality that illegal immigration remains a crime and the volatile reaction of a public that views law enforcement as the enemy. The song argues that while law enforcement officers are simply fulfilling their sworn duties, the massive over-deployment of force—and the violent protests reacting to it—creates a self-defeating loop of aggression. Ultimately, it serves as a warning: if citizens choose chaos over the rule of law, the inevitable result is a society where the state will never stop asserting its presence with Boots on the Ground.
